In order for a diverse group of leaders to work and connect effectively, the CSLI founding committee realized the need for leadership self-assessment. CSLI partnered with the internationally renowned Center for Creative Leadership to provide leaders with a five-day intensive leadership-training course. The first class went through CCL training in 1997, including the city Mayor.
The CCL custom program offers a quality learning experience in the specific context of challenges facing the Colorado Springs community. It utilizes dynamic learning experiences and case studies, top facilitators, and peer networking to enhance leadership skills. It offers an unparalleled opportunity to challenge established ways of thinking and behaving to expand a participant’s knowledge of themselves and the community. This makes them more valuable to both their organizations and to Colorado Springs.
